While waiting for the Cayenne EV to come out, I've been shopping around for a used Porsche Taycan, and with recent price drops, I'm seeing some fantastic deals for under $60,000, which feels like a steal for such a high-performance EV. I’d be interested to hear from current Taycan owners about your experiences. How’s the driving feel, build quality, and overall ownership been? Any unexpected maintenance costs or quirks I should watch out for? Also, how’s the range holding up in real-world conditions?

I leased a 2022 4s and it was fantastic. The range was about 70%, possibly more, greater than the 199 rating, drove incredibly well, beautiful interior and very comfortable. There was only once issue with the entire car and that was the PCM software. It was the worst I’ve ever experienced. It was my wife’s car and she told me some times it would take so long to boot up she’d just use her phone for directions and music.

Yikes! I had the same experience when I was shopping for a Cayenne a couple of years ago. The infotainment was really glitchy and hard to use. I really hope they have fixed that in the new Cayenne EV.

Porsche built a new version of PCM from android automotive and put it in the Macan EV, 2025+ Taycan and the Cayenne EV is supposed to have it as well. I think I recall that correctly.
